-Weekly lawn maintenance
Weekly lawn maintenance includes mowing, edging, string- trimming where the mower can’t reach, and blowing off all surfaces. If you need flower bed and shrub maintenance, we can do this as well, but it needs to be looked at by an estimator to determine how much work is needed.
- Shrub and tree trimming
Getting shrubs trimmed properly can do wonders for the look of a yard. Also, trimming low hanging tree branches not only makes a yard more attractive, but it is also safer as well. No more branches scratching your face as you walk around your yard.
- Mulch
Mulch is needed in flower beds and around trees for a number of reasons. In flower beds, it helps to control weeds. It is a great way to maintain moisture to aid in hydrating plants more continuously. It also helps create a more defined plant region. Lastly, it helps protect tree roots from exposure to mowing, that could otherwise damage the tree.
- Flower Beds
We love helping you install your new flower beds. It is always a treat to see how it will transform a house’s curb appeal. Each flower bed installation is exciting to us for this reason, plus the look of joy that the homeowner has when we finish is a reward as well.
- Aeration
Aeration is a process that helps your grass to grow in more thickly. The thicker your grass is, the more it will prevent weeds from popping up. Basically, the grass will choke out any weeds that try to take hold in your yard.
- Overseeding
Overseeding is typically done at the same time as aeration. Aeration prepares the soil to better accommodate grass growth, which makes it the perfect time to add more grass seed.
- Dethatching
Dethatching is the process of removing thatch (the dead grass/ debris that accumulates throughout the year), so that the grass can grow more fully. Just like aeration, dethatching helps the grass grow thicker and healthier. Thick, healthy grass helps prevent weeds from popping up.
- Fertilizing
Fertilizing is usually done once, sometimes twice per year. There are local and state laws regarding the use of fertilizers. You want someone knowledgeable about fertilizers and the region they are being used in to get the most out of them, while still protecting you, your property, and the environment.
- Lawn Clean-up
Lawn clean-ups are what you need when it has become fully overgrown. Imagine you move into a new house, and no one has been there for a while to keep the yard maintenance going, that is when you need a clean-up. That overgrown lawn, that some would call a jungle, will be back to beautiful in no time.
- Sod
If your lawn is at the point of needing to be completely torn out and new grass put down, we can help with that as well.
- Paver installation
We love a good challenge, so pavers are always something to look forward to. We can make everything from small patios to fire rings, or even retaining walls to suit your needs.
- Excavation
This is the fun stuff for us. Big machines moving big dirt for any of your projects.
- Land Clearing
This is where you need help with raw land. If you need trees removed because you want to have a nice yard, this is the service you need. When we are finished, the ground will be free of trees, roots, and leveled in preparation for your sod, or grass seed.
- Forestry Mulching
This is similar to land clearing, but tree roots are left in the ground. This service is best for clearing land that will not be planted, usually for helping prevent forest fires. However, without removing tree roots, building, as well as planting, will not be possible in these areas.
